The Sweet Sister God Gave Me.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving {getting a head start...}, I wanted to take a minute and share how incredibly THANKFUL I am for my lovely sister.

Melissa, you are a gem. I have loved every minute of having you as a sister. We share some pretty amazing {and hilarious} memories. All of our silly home movies that we made...driving our scooters around our chalk-drawn city...fighting for the middle cinnamon roll...playing "ship" on Grandma and Grandpa's couches...hiding and scaring Grandpa when he would come home from work...catching frogs at the pool and pretending we couldn't hear Mom and Dad when they said it was time to go {sorry Mom and Dad!}...the times when we shared a room...dressing Casey up in our bathing suits...camping trips galore...our gymnastics and trampoline-jumping days...all the times you woke up early and came to school with me when I had drill team practice {she was such a trooper, y'all}...that time our umbrella inverted, flew away, and you saved the day and ran to catch it {you weren't very happy with me haha, and rightly so}...our good times together in the one and only Aggieland...you standing next to me as my Maid of Honor on my wedding day...and the sweet relationship that we have now. Mel, God hand-picked the best sister ever for me, and I am so thankful. Thanks for making me laugh {your witty humor will never get old}, for encouraging me when I've felt down, for your genuine nature, and so much more. You are the BEST sister ever!

Melissa: "Mon, let's make silly faces."
(Result = a terribly unflattering picture of myself and Melissa looking completely normal...Sneaky, sneaky...)

Love you mucho, Mel.
